The cars, which were later bought by a Bengaluru-based businessman known as ‘KGF Babu’, were found to be running without paying the necessary road taxes in Karnataka.

Transport authorities in Bengaluru conducted a thorough inspection and discovered that these luxury cars had been evading road tax payments for years. Since the vehicles were registered outside the state but were being used regularly in Bengaluru, a fine was levied after assessing the dues and penalty.

‘KGF Babu’, a local businessman who has a fondness for high-end vintage cars, had reportedly bought the cars years ago. However, the lapse in paying taxes came into focus only recently.
