“Delhi Schools on Alert After Bomb Threat Emails Prompt Police Response”

Two schools in Delhi were thrown into a state of concern earlier today after receiving bomb threat emails. The incidents were reported from separate institutions located in different parts of the city. Authorities were quick to respond, with the Delhi Police and bomb disposal squads reaching the premises soon after the alerts were raised.

The schools, whose names are being withheld for security reasons, took immediate action by evacuating students and staff as a precaution. Both campuses were thoroughly searched by security teams, including the Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) and dog squads, but no suspicious objects were found.

According to police officials, the threat appears to be part of a growing trend of hoax emails targeting educational institutions. While no actual explosives were discovered, investigations are underway to trace the source of the emails and determine whether they are connected to previous incidents reported in the city.

Parents, understandably anxious, were informed promptly and many rushed to the schools to pick up their children. School authorities cooperated fully with law enforcement, ensuring that emergency protocols were followed smoothly.

A senior police official confirmed that digital forensics teams are analyzing the email trail. “We are treating the matter with full seriousness. Even if it turns out to be a hoax, the law will take its course,” he said.

While the situation was brought under control without harm, the episode highlights the importance of preparedness and quick action during such threats. It also raises concern over the mental toll such incidents can have on students, staff, and families.
