“Air India Express Flight Returns to Hyderabad Soon After Takeoff to Phuket”

An Air India Express flight bound for Phuket had to return to Hyderabad just minutes after takeoff on Tuesday, raising concerns among passengers and airport authorities.

According to initial reports, the aircraft developed a technical issue shortly after it was airborne. As a safety precaution, the pilots decided to turn back and land at Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad. Fortunately, the flight landed safely, and all passengers and crew members were unharmed.

The airline later confirmed the incident, stating that the return was purely precautionary and done in line with standard safety procedures. “The aircraft experienced a minor technical issue shortly after takeoff. The crew followed all necessary protocols and returned the flight safely to Hyderabad,” a spokesperson for Air India Express said.

Passengers were provided refreshments and kept informed during the delay. Alternate arrangements were being made to ensure their travel to Phuket with minimal inconvenience.

This incident adds to the growing list of recent precautionary landings by Indian airlines, highlighting the importance of routine checks and technical preparedness. While such occurrences can be alarming, aviation experts say that prompt decision-making and strict adherence to safety guidelines are what prevent such incidents from escalating.

As investigations continue, Air India Express is expected to carry out a detailed inspection of the aircraft before it is cleared for service again.
