A fatal crash on Interstate 95 northbound at the Golden Glades Interchange in South Florida caused significant traffic delays on Friday morning, leaving drivers stuck in miles-long backups.

The incident, which occurred during the early commute hours, involved multiple vehicles. Authorities confirmed at least one person died in the collision. Several lanes of I-95 northbound were blocked for an extended period as emergency crews worked at the scene.

Florida Highway Patrol officers responded quickly, along with Miami-Dade Fire Rescue units. Officials have not yet released the identity of the victim, pending notification of family members.
