“Pilots’ Body Stands by Air India Crew, Slams Speculation Around Crash”

In the aftermath of the recent Air India crash, the Indian Commercial Pilots’ Association (ICPA) has come forward strongly to support the crew and condemn the circulating rumors that suggest suicide may have played a role in the tragedy. The pilots’ union called the speculation not only irresponsible but deeply hurtful to the families of those involved.

In a public statement, the ICPA emphasized the professionalism and training of Indian commercial pilots, adding that it is unfair to draw conclusions before the official investigation is complete. “Let the facts come from the black box and the investigation, not from social media,” the association said, urging both media houses and the public to refrain from spreading unverified theories.

The crash, which claimed multiple lives, has shaken the aviation community. While technical and operational reviews are still ongoing, experts believe the focus must remain on facts and data. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) and other authorities are currently analyzing voice and data recordings, along with other flight details.

The ICPA has also requested that regulatory bodies work closely with the airline and investigators to maintain transparency while protecting the dignity of those involved. Meanwhile, families of the crew members are still coming to terms with the loss and have appealed for privacy.

As the investigation progresses, it’s clear that patience and respect are needed more than sensational headlines. Jumping to conclusions can lead to mistrust in a profession built on safety and responsibility.
