2-Year-Old Boy in Bihar Bites Cobra in Self-Defense, Snake Dies

In an unusual and shocking incident from Bihar, a two-year-old boy reportedly bit a cobra to death after the snake wrapped itself around his arm. The event took place in the village of Pandit Tola in Gopalganj district and has quickly become a topic of discussion across social media and local news outlets.

According to the boy’s family, the child was playing near the house when the cobra suddenly struck, coiling around his hand. Startled and unable to shake it off, the boy did what no one could have expected — he bit the snake back. Villagers say the boy acted out of sheer panic, not fully understanding the danger he was in.

The snake, identified as a common spectacled cobra, died shortly after the incident. Fortunately, doctors confirmed that the snake didn’t get a chance to inject venom during the struggle, which is likely what saved the boy’s life.

The child was rushed to a local health centre for observation and later discharged with no major injuries. His family is relieved, though still shaken by how close it all came.

While the story has caught the attention of many, health experts warn that such situations are extremely risky. Snake bites, especially from venomous species like cobras, require immediate medical attention and can be fatal if untreated.

This story might sound unbelievable, but it highlights both the unpredictability of nature and the surprising instincts even young children can show when faced with danger.
